House Rentals Ad List

Just a quick list of things that most landlords forget when marketing homes for rent:

1. Use a new fresh coat of paint. It's cheap.

2. Landscape your lot. Use inexpensive plants. And mow the lawn.

3. Clean carpets and flooring. Any dirty floors will deter renters.

4. Advertise your house rentals on reputable rental ad sites, like RentNice.com and Rentals.com

5. Post rental signs in the front lawn and at cross streets.

Rentvine.com site trying to compete with Rentals.com

If you read through the Rentvine blog site, you’ll see that a good 60-70% of his material is all about beating Rentals.com and HouseRentals.com.

They also charge as much as $64 for an ad.

Looks like serious infactuation. We say, don’t knock your competition, but find a better way to offer services to customers. We feel that our site offers great value and high exposure for house rental ads.

RentalHouses.com increases ad prices

Well I knew it was about to happen, but wasn’t sure just when. Now, RentalHouses.com raised their ad fees an additional $10.

It is now $49.oo for 30 days, $79.00 for 60 days and $109 for 90 days.

See our home rental ad rates and you’ll wonder how long they can do this to customer, especially in this economy.

I suspect Rentals.com to be next — they are the umbrella company that includes RentalHouses.
